Commissioner Wins Business Award

County Commissioner Tracy Philbeck has won the Heart of Business Award from the Gaston Regional Chamber.
As well as being a Commissioner in Gaston County, Philbeck also owns Treescape which is located in the West District of Gastonia.
Philbeck and his company have been supporters of the West District and especially the schools. It was his support of two different school projects that helped him win the award.
Annette Carter, Gaston County School Chairwoman stated that Tracy's involvement with Rhyne Elementary Hearts Helping Haiti and also the first ever school yearbook at Woodhill Elementary were just two of the reasons Mr. Philbeck was chosen to receive the award.
We would like to congratulate Mr. Philbeck and thank him for his involvement with the West District and especially the schools.
